The first few months of 2015 have been busy, busy, busy! We’ve been lucky enough to see some incredible new collections from our favorite artists and work with some brand new names that are creating some exciting new looks for us! This week, we’d like to highlight one of our new artists: Grant Massey Studio .
Grant Massey’s work has been steadily gaining in popularity since his debut at several important craft shows in 1992. We love his use of natural imagery and marine life in his work. From sperm whales to horseshoe crabs, his work features iconic wildlife represented in beautifully crafted copper.
Gorgeous Copper Sconces, Lights, and Mobiles
Our collection of Massey’s work includes a variety of lights, sconces, and mobiles, all featuring his signature metalwork that features a charming copper patina. His sconces and lights can be fitted with a gorgeous selection of fused glass panels for an extra splash of color and artistry.
From Marlins to Longhorn bulls, this collection includes iconic marine and country wildlife. Though colorful and vibrant, his pieces still maintain an understated appeal that we find easy to incorporate into many different home styles.
Many of Massey’s pieces also incorporate beautiful cedar woodworking. The warm color of the cedar is an incredible compliment to the cooler copper tones of his sculptures. His pieces are generally short enough to fit on a table but their abundance of charm means they’ll stand out as truly special additions to your home’s décor.
