The Living Desert, in Palm Springs, California, is a Zoo & Gardens dedicated to conservation and education. Check out their site, they really do great work. That great work comes at a price. That’s where fundraising comes in. Amazing conservation projects take an amazing amount of resources to get it off the ground.
The idea… to create an amazing centerpiece for each table that could then be auctioned that evening to raise additional support for the zoo programs. What better idea for a centerpiece than a Sticks Lazy Susan.
Artcraft was contacted by the Living Desert about a their annual Zoobilee gala, their largest fundraising effort each year. The gala would be set-up to feature 24 large dinner tables where some of the most important supporters of the Zoo would be sitting.
Lastly, we worked closely with Sticks to develop special pricing to help ensure that the Zoo’s fundraising efforts would be successful. To cut to the chase… it was a smashing success! By the end of the night, all of the Custom Sticks Centerpieces went to a good home.

Maggie, thanks for the comment. The Living Desert Zoo is a pretty cool organization! Unfortunately, the Sticks Lazy Susans you see in this post have already gone to a good home from their fundraiser. However, we can reproduce any of the designs, minus their logo, and of course add your spin to the mix. Pun intended.
