When Amy submitted a Custom Design form on our website for a personalized Sticks Furniture Dining Set and one of the themes was “Choosing a dog may be your only chance to pick a relative”, we knew this was going to be FUN to design!
Due to the size & complexity of her amazing four-seasons design that included pets & animals from all over the animal kingdom, we took her ideas and created several drawings to make sure we were including all the details. A small sampling of her design ideas included:
4 Seasons Center Landscape – Day to Night
Winter & Summer to be larger sections of the long sides.
-NOTE: “when we said we wanted the summer and winter to be the longest side of the table we did not mean that they needed to be bigger than the autumn and spring side paintings, we just wanted them oriented so that winter and summer are on the long sides. We would like all of the seasons to be approximately the same size paintings. My husband also says the more animals the better so if the artist thinks that there are appropriate animals to add to the seasons (without making it look overloaded) they can go ahead. We are Jewish so we just don’t want Santa Claus or Easter bunnies.”
-Spring: Budding trees, Birds, Brown bear with cubs
–Summer: Beach with sea turtle on beach, dolphins in water
-Full Sun over summer
-Fall: Autumn leaves, Moose, Brown Bear
-Moon & Stars/Night to be mainly over winter
-Winter: snowy trees, mountains, snowman, eagle, polar bear
-House to be oriented in the center of the table – see attached #106 for example
-White English Lab & German Shepherd laying in front of house

When Amy and Family received the table in 4 short weeks they were thrilled with how it came out:
