50 Years Together – A Custom Sticks Lazy Susan

Married 50 years, Sue & Mike Kopper certainly have the formula down. The couple decided they wanted to get something special to commemorate so many special years together. A trip to Artcraft @ Savage Mill was all the inspiration needed. The sight of our colorful Sticks Lazy Susans spread across a dining table in the store got them thinking. “Sitting together at out table each day looking at such a beautiful centerpiece could be a really nice gift to each other.” Overhearing their conversation, our staff jumped in to let them know about personalization. “For such a special occasion, why don’t we help you customize a lazy susan to commemorate your 50 years together.” That was it. They had found the perfect gift to each other. Here’s how it came together:
 
Color: Same as Lazy Susan #17112 (naturals, browns, warm fall colors).
 
Design: Patchwork theme like Lazy Susan #4911 with changes:

• Change outer edge to word border (use plain oak stain for word border)
• Change all imagery and sayings to:
  • Margarita with the word Celebrate
  • A fancy, cool, unique coffee mug (no words)
  • White Bichon Dog with Black Eyes (see attached photo)
  • Cake with Chocolate Icing with words Sue & Mike – 50 years
  • IN THE LARGER CENTRAL BLOCK – representation of the client’s house with shrubbery (see attached photo)
  • Sombrero 
  • Rainbow
  • Parrot on a branch
  • Dogwood Tree with Pink Flowers
  • 2 Adirondack Chairs on beach from behind with couple looking at sunset (man with short gray hair and woman with short brown hair)
